Twenty years after its last world tour, the Amerigo Vespucci set sail for a new world tour lasting a total of 20 months. Throughout this journey, it will visit more than 30 ports in 28 countries across 5 continents, combining the traditional training activities of officer cadets with the promotion of the country’s image, the excellence of "Made in Italy," and its iconic products. In the main eight ports it will visit, the “Villaggio Italia” will be set up as a hub aimed at creating a meeting point for sharing and dialogue, promoting Italian culture, art, cuisine, and craftsmanship on an international scale.
